Hours: Shall be either 08:30 AM to 16:30 PM Monday to Friday inclusive with one (1) hour for lunch OR four (4) day work week, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, with each week alternating from Friday off to Mondays off, with one (1) hour and fifteen (15) minutes for lunch.

As a member of the Fire Prevention Team, this position is responsible for fire prevention, public education, and plan review. Our commitment is to provide the highest level of life safety and property protection for those who live, work, and play in our community.
Reporting to the Chief Fire Prevention Officer and acting as an Assistant to the Ontario Fire Marshal, this role is accountable for ensuring compliance with the Ontario Fire Code (OFC) and other applicable legislation, standards, and by-laws.
