As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Intumescent Paint Sprayer to join our dedicated team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in spraying intumescent or industrial coatings (preferred)
  • CSCS card or equivalent (required)
  • Good understanding of fire protection systems and application methods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Driving licence

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Sprayer, you will be responsible for applying fire-resistant coatings and materials to structural steel and other surfaces in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. You will play a key role in helping us ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and delivering top-quality service to our clients.
You must have prior knowledge and experience with Sherwin Williams and Nullifier Products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare surfaces for spraying, including masking and priming as necessary
  • Apply intumescent coatings using airless spray equipment
  • Ensure accurate thickness and coverage to meet fire protection standards
  • Carry out work safely and efficiently on-site or at our facility
  • Maintain spray equipment and tools in good working condition
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and site rules
  • Liaise with supervisors and site managers to complete tasks to deadline
  • Ensure all daily atmospheric checks are carried out and recorded
  • Accurately record WFT and DFT readings in line with FIRAS requirements
