We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment across various projects, particularly within the construction sector. This position requires a proactive approach to safety management, system design, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in a safety role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of system design principles as they relate to workplace safety.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying risks and implementing solutions.

The Safety Specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures tailored to construction environments.
• Collaborating with project managers and teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Providing training and guidance to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
• Investigating accidents and incidents, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions.
• Assisting in the design of safety systems that integrate seamlessly into project workflows.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and changes in legislation related to health and safety.
