Responsibilities

The role’s main responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits
  • Develop Policies
  • Provide Training
  • Investigate Incidents
  • Audit Compliance
  • Provide expert advice on fire legislation and technical guidance on fire safety policies and procedures
  • Review & update fire risk assessments, fire prevention plans, and emergency evacuation plans
  • Investigate fire-related incidents and fire alarm actuations
  • Develop and implement fire safety training programmes for staff
  • Conduct fire risk assessments and audits, produce, monitor, and review agreed action plans
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and reviewing fire safety policies, procedures, and standards
  • Stay updated on changes in fire safety legislation and best practic
