FIRE AND BUILDING SAFETY MANAGER

Location: Nationwide role (travel required to our Developments)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

We are looking for a Fire and Building Safety Manager to lead our fire and building safety approach, ensuring compliance with all current and future legislation. This is a pivotal role in shaping our strategic approach, working closely with Hampshire Fire and Rescue and key stakeholders across the business.

What You’ll Do -

  • Develop and implement fire and building safety strategies across our estate.
  • Provide expert guidance to internal teams, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Work closely with Hampshire Fire and Rescue and external consultants to maintain our high safety standards.
  • Conduct audits on fire risk assessments, ensuring best practice across our properties.
  • Lead fire remediation projects and implement recommendations to enhance safety.
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes and ensure our approach evolves accordingly.

What We’re Looking For -

  • Degree-qualified professional with membership in a relevant fire safety body (e.g., IWFM).
  • Extensive knowledge of fire and building safety legislation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulations to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in developing and implementing safety strategies across large property estates.
  • Resilient, proactive, and results-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
