JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commissioning Technician (Fire & Security) to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire safety systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in the use of hand and power tools. The Engineer will collaborate with various teams to develop effective fire protection solutions tailored to specific project needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in fire engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed designs and schematics.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems as they relate to fire safety equipment.
  • Ability to design complex systems that meet regulatory requirements while addressing client needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
