We are seeking a skilled and F-Gas certified Service Engineer to join our fire protection team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with gaseous fire suppression systems and Fire Systems.

REQUIREMENTS

For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:

  • Valid F-Gas certification (Category 1 preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong understanding of BS 5306-4, BS EN 15004, and relevant fire protection regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with integrated fire detection and control systems.
  • ECS/CSCS card or other site safety certifications.
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AS FIRE ALARM ENGINEER (GAS SUPPRESSION EXPERIENCE)

  • Install, service, commission, and maintain gaseous fire suppression systems and Fire alarm systems, specifically FM-200, Novec 1230, and Inert gas systems (e.g., IG-55, IG-541).
  • Conduct system testing, inspections, and leak detection in accordance with BS EN and ISO standards.
  • Provide timely and effective fault diagnosis and repairs.
  • Ensure all works are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, risk assessments, and commissioning records.
  • Liaise professionally with clients on-site and provide technical advice as required.
  • Stay up to date with current regulations, products, and industry developments.
  • Participate in on-call rota or emergency response duties if required.
