OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fire protection systems and demonstrate proficiency in both mechanical and electrical aspects of sprinkler installation and maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems within various buildings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in system design for fire sprinkler systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools.
  • Understanding of electrical components related to fire sprinkler systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
    Basic salary up to £47,000 plus bonus and overtime

  • Install fire sprinkler systems according to relevant codes and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to effectively plan installations.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate work on construction sites.
  • Troubleshoot issues with sprinkler systems, providing timely solutions to ensure system reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and compliance documentation.
