Division - Anaheim, CA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $35.00 - $50.00 Hourly Description SUMMARY: The Fire Sprinkler Foreman is an experienced fitter position that supervises and trains workers and tradespeople while installing systems. Having a positive attitude, good attendance, a hard-working work ethic, and the desire to grow is vital to the success of this position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Working knowledge of all construction documents and fire sprinkler installation plans Have a working knowledge of some or all of the following documents: NFPA 13D, 13R, and 13 Provide information about the progress of the project Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans Ensure manpower and resources are adequate Supervise and train workers and tradespeople Have a professional attitude and appearance Interface with customers and superintendents in a professional manner Motivated and a self-starter Problem solver Able to work independently Ability to give and follow directions Have a working knowledge of steel piping and/or CPVC (both are preferred, but not required) Must be able to lift 100 pounds Have a current Cal Fire sprinkler fitter card A clean driving record is a plus. *Reliable and predictable attendance is required for the function of this job* *Duties and responsibilities may be changed at any time Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Blazemaster, OSHA 10, and CPR/First Aid training must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment. Noise levels can vary from low to very loud. TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS: This job does not usually require traveling. Out-of-town work is rare, but could be necessary on occasion.
