Job Summary The Fire Sprinkler Helper will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to safety and teamwork. Responsibilities · OSHA 10/30, blueprint reading, ability to read a tape measure, attention to detail, safety awareness. · Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. · Help with the maintenance and repair of existing fire sprinkler systems. · Carry tools and materials, and prepare work areas for installation. · Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized worksite. · Support the lead technician with tasks as needed, including cutting and threading pipes, drilling holes, and assembling system components. · Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks. · Learn and adhere to company and industry standards for fire sprinkler systems. Requirements · High school diploma or GED. · Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required. · Willingness to learn and follow instructions. · Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. · Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. · Basic understanding of hand and power tools. · Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. · Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
