Job Details Job Location: Chesapeake Sprinkler Ashburn - Ashburn, VA 20147 Position Type: Full Time Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Category: Sales Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative Div. 132 - Ashburn, Virginia Summary Responsible for providing estimating, project management and customer service for new and existing clients in the Baltimore-Washington DC metroplex. Promote, estimate, and sell fire protection sprinkler systems, repairs, and upgrades to existing and new clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies. Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings. Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives. Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors, and end users. Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1M+. Manage projects as needed (i.e., change orders, field issues) and attend job walks and construction meetings as needed. Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business Experience and Qualifications 5+ years Fire Sprinkler Estimating/Sales or equivalent experience. Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes. Computer Skills Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
