The first installment will be included in your initial paycheck, with the second installment paid after 90 days of employment. Both payments are contingent upon active employment in good standing. Job Summary:The Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, maintaining and growing existing customer relationships, estimating fire sprinkler installation and construction service projects, and securing contracts. This role supports revenue growth through a mix of new construction, retrofits, construction service work, and long-term customer partnerships with General Contractors and end-user customers. Job Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the General Contractor and end-user markets Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships Estimate, quote, and close fire sprinkler installation, retrofit, and construction service projects Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry involvement Conduct site visits to assess fire sprinkler system requirements and propose compliant, cost-effective solutions Provide technical guidance to customers regarding fire sprinkler systems, life safety solutions, and NFPA and AHJ requirements Collaborate with internal teams including designers, project managers, service managers, and field leadership to ensure smooth sales-to-operations turnover Support service agreement opportunities and identify system improvement or upgrade needs Prepare and present value-based proposals, pricing, and scopes of work Track sales activity, forecasts, and performance against targets; provide regular reporting to management Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity Participate in sales meetings, training, and professional development activities Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications What We Are Looking For: Required High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years of experience estimating and quoting fire sprinkler systems Working knowledge of NFPA standards and applicable codes Working knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and estimating tools Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Demonstrated negotiation and closing ability Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel within the assigned territory Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Desirable (but not required!) NICET Sprinkler Certification or the path to obtain one Experience selling both new construction and service-based fire sprinkler work Why Join Hiller?
