What Are We Looking For? Assist Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians with inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. Help perform inspections on various types of fire sprinkler systems while learning industry standards and procedures. Support technicians with diagnosing and troubleshooting deficiencies in fire sprinkler systems. Assist with operating hand and power tools commonly used in fire protection, including pipe cutters, threading machines, and wrenches. Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites and maintain an organized work area. Professionally interact with customers on-site and represent Gutridge in a positive manner. Coordinate with technicians and office staff regarding job status updates. Assist with completing service reports, work orders, and documentation as needed. Learn to electronically complete Service Acknowledgements and obtain customer signatures. Participate in training and on-the-job learning opportunities to develop skills in the fire protection trade. Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to assist with jobs. Must be willing to work at heights, operate electrical tools, and lift up to 75 pounds at a time. Great Benefits! Motivated, dependable, and eager to develop new skills. Willingness to work toward industry certifications and continued training. Experience using power and hand tools is preferred. Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred. Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and maintain a strong work ethic. Must maintain a good driving record (insurable through our insurance carrier) for driving to/from job sites.
