ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Lead Mission Critical is actively seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians to join our growing team. In this essential role, you will play a key part in safeguarding life and property by inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA 25, industry regulations, and local fire codes.
We are looking for dedicated professionals who take pride in their technical skills and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in fire sprinkler system inspection, testing, and repair.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and local fire protection codes.
  • NICET Level I or higher certification in Water-Based Systems preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Additional experience in marine fire protection systems, suppression systems, or high/low-pressure hydro testing is a plus.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
  • Capable of standing, crawling, kneeling, and performing manual labor for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, service, and test wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25.
  • Troubleshoot and repair system components such as valves, sprinkler heads, piping, controllers, and pumps.
  • Accurately identify and document system deficiencies; prepare detailed inspection reports using ServiceTrade or similar software.
  • Perform fire pump testing, including pressure and flow rate assessments.
  • Respond to emergency service calls with professionalism and urgency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Deficiency Sales) to support timely estimates and effective follow-up repairs.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environments on all job sites.
