OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a skilled Firestoppers to join our team carrying out Passive Firestopping works within residential apartment blocks. This is a long-term position offering consistent work, with the potential for further opportunities on projects nationwide.

REQUIREMENTS

• NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in passive fire stopping installation.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Knowledge of BM Trada / FIRAS standards (preferred).
• Knowledge of BM Trada, FIRAS, or similar fire protection standards preferred.
• Own tools and reliable transport.

• Install firestopping solutions, including batt and mastic, fire collars, wraps, pillows, sealants, and cavity barriers.
• Work in accordance with fire safety legislation, building regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and BM Trada standards.
• Work effectively within a team of other Firestoppers, Fire Door Joiners, and the BM Trada Supervisor.
• Conduct inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ability to use QA applications such as Bolster Systems (or similar).
• Maintain a tidy and safe work area at all times.
• Maintain professionalism when engaging with on-site management teams and building residents.
• Ability to work to deadlines and be versatile when working in different areas.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in passive fire stopping installation.
