Fire Suppression Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled fire alarm Suppression engineer with more than 3 years of experience.
The role will involve a mixture of fire alarm related disciplines including servicing, fault diagnosis, control panel replacements, upgrades and small works. Additionally, service and maintenance of fire extinguishers will be required as part of the role. Emergency Light maintenance with basic repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• FIA Fire Alarm and Detection System Units
• ECS Card
• Any manufacturer related training
• Full UK Driving License
• BAFE - Desirable but full training can be provided
• Electrical Safe Isolation

As we maintain a wide range of varying complexity sites, experience in maintaining and programming the following fire alarm systems is essential:

• Advanced Electronics
• Kentec & Extinguishant panels
• Morle

It would be advantageous for the candidate to have completed the BAFE fire extinguisher technician qualification to carry out fire extinguisher maintenance as part of this role for an interim period whilst recruiting more resources in the area.
A company vehicle will be provided along with any tools and equipment to carry out day to day duties.
All of our jobs are completed using a progressive job management and scheduling platform and therefore the successful candidate will be issued with an iPad and laptop to carry out their day to day duties.
The ideal candidate will have experience with managing their own workload and the ability to use their own initiative to seek solutions to technical problems whilst managing their time efficiently.
