This position is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who takes pride in quality work and values safety. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated and dependable candidates. Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, and service dry chemical, clean agent, and special hazard fire suppression systems Inspect and replace tanks, cartridges, hoses, nozzles, detection loops, and control unit batteries Perform semi-annual and annual system maintenance and testing Conduct electronic and manual actuator tests to verify functionality Complete detailed inspection logs and update system records accurately Travel regionally, with occasional overnight stays (up to a week at a time) Communicate with site planners and use mobile field service applications for reporting Requirements What We’re Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic computer proficiency and comfort using mobile apps Customer-focused mindset with clear, professional communication Flexibility for varied hours and on-call rotation Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Experience with mining vehicle fire suppression systems is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, or stoop for extended periods Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs Willingness to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions If you take pride in your craft and want to help grow a trusted, expanding fire protection company, we’d like to hear from you.
