Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are growing and need three more experienced technicians to join our existing team. No two days are the same with an interesting variety of work from complex new installations to essential routine maintenance and servicing. We operate defect-free project completion so whatever the job, you will complete it to a high standard. The role will require travel within Greater Auckland, Waikato and Northland.

DUTIES

  • Reading and interpreting building plans and system specifications
  • Installation, fault finding, repair and maintenance on existing and new operating systems to the required safety standards, manufacturer’s specifications and customer satisfaction
  • Producing quality assurance documentation for all installation work
  • Using power tools, working at heights, material preparation etc
  • Review shop drawings and plan daily project fieldwork.
  • Coordinate with site foreman and project manager regarding labour requirements.
  • Ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Conduct site measurement of required materials and manage procurement and supply.
  • Control tools and equipment, and verify user competency.
  • Maintain accurate records for Hazard ID, timesheets, QA sheets, and variations (VOs).
  • Promote excellent productivity and positive employment relations.
  • Ensure fire protection standards and best trade practices are met.
  • Achieve safe working methods that comply with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Communicate employment policies regarding Health and Safety to all staff.
  • Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality performance.
