Please see the attached flyer and job description for more info.  The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated Firefighter to join our team.  As a key member of the Fire Department, the Firefighter will handle fire suppression, prevention, inspection, rescue, and first responder operations. Our Firefighters make a difference in our citizens’ lives by engaging with them by protecting life and property from disaster situations, including house and building fires, and promote an environment of public safety within the department response area.   You have a strong work ethic and work extremely hard to accomplish the duties assigned. If you can do those things and meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you: * High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).  * Must have a valid Texas Commission of Fire Protection (TCFP) Structural Firefighter-Basic Certification * Must have a valid Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) EMT-Basic Certification Note: Candidates are required to submit a resume and both certifications with their application. * Candidates who fail to submit a resume and certifications will not be accepted.   Compensation: Starting hourly rate is $19.80/hr.
