QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience as a fireplace installer, chimney sweep, or gas technician.
• Strong knowledge of combustion safety and venting requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in tight or elevated spaces.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, service, and repair gas, wood, pellet, and electric fireplaces in residential and commercial locations.
• Perform chimney and venting inspections to identify blockages, cracks, or fire hazards.
• Clean and maintain fireplaces, chimneys, and venting systems in compliance with NFPA 211 and local codes.
• Conduct safety checks, leak testing, and ignition system troubleshooting for gas appliances.
• Provide detailed reports of inspections, maintenance, and repair work performed.
• Educate customers on proper fireplace use, safety practices, and maintenance schedules.
• Recommend additional services or parts replacement as needed.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Follow company safety policies and industry best practices at all times.
