Key Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot firmware for embedded systems * Serve as the interface between hardware components (sensors) and software systems * Integrate and implement sensors within the broader system architecture * Support system sustainment, enhancements, and performance improvements * Collaborate cross-functionally with software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams * Work with technologies including STM32 microcontrollers, CAN bus, and Raspberry Pi (in transition) * Operate as the primary firmware engineer on the team, driving ownership and accountability Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field * 4–8 years of experience in firmware or embedded systems development * U.S. work authorization required (U.S. Citizen, Green Card, or Permanent Resident) * Willingness to travel for initial onboarding/training
