Description
We are looking for an experienced firmware system engineer to test, debug and address solutions to release software to Production line and Customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and architecture teams to bring-up NVIDIA network products, ensuring safe software release to mass production. The dynamic and fast-paced work environment will require you to excel in problem-solving and system-level debugging, all while fostering collaboration among exceptional engineers across NVIDIA's global sites. What you’ll be doing: Identify, diagnose, and addressing high-value problems during the product onboarding process, such as software compatibility, PCIe, security, network interoperability and communication issues between components Verify that all integrated components interact as intended. This includes functional testing to ensure software components work correctly on various hardware testing platforms Validate firmware features for production at hardware power-on stage Bridge between software, architecture and production engineering teams What we need to see: BS.c in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience 3+ years of overall experience Strong system-level understanding and hands-on lab experience Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, including written and verbal communication in English Ways to stand out from the crowd: Knowledge in SW-HW interfaces, PCIe, memory subsystems, storage components, network applications, device drivers and real-time software Programming knowledge in Python/C/C++ Deep understanding of computing architectures, hardware systems block diagrams and schematic sheets understanding Previous roles in technical lead or system validation positions We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
