Role and Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities Responsibilities: • Development of Firmware for ARM/RISC-V MCUs based image sensors. • Profiling of the firmware to meet different latency requirement. • Verification of assigned image processing IPs. • Verification of fpga or sensor chip at integrated system-level. • Analyze image quality for artifacts due to the image processing pipeline. • Debugging of issues at IP and at system level. • Preparing High Level Design and User Guide documents for the Firmware. • Support post-MTO evaluation, tuning and qualification of image sensors. • Support customers across geographies for integration of image sensors into smartphone platforms. Requisite Qualification and Skills: • Knowledge of or experience with MCUs like RISCV core, ARM Cortex M3/M4. • Good knowledge of C programming language o (optional) ARM assembly language. • Knowledge about the compilation process and linker script. • Good Analytical skills. o Must be able to analyze users' needs and then design software to meet those needs. • Good Debugging skills (GDB, Trace32). • (Optional) Knowledge about the ISP. • Good communications skills to interact with different teams, overseas customers, etc. Experience – 4 to 12 years Qualifications - B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E Disclaimer Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR), a division of Samsung R&D India - Bangalore Pvt.
