Job Summary The First Aid Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, organization, and performance of the First Aid Department. This position ensures that the First Aid station is properly staffed, equipped, and prepared to provide timely first aid care to guests and team members in accordance with company policies, established protocols, and applicable safety standards. The First Aid Operations Supervisor provides leadership and direction to First Aid Attendants, supports emergency response operations, ensures accurate documentation and completion of required checklists, maintains department readiness, and promotes a professional, safety-focused, and guest-service-oriented environment. This role serves as a key point of contact between First Aid, Operations, Aquatics, Security, park leadership, and responding emergency services when needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily First Aid operations during park operating hours. Ensure First Aid stations are properly staffed, organized, clean, stocked, and ready for use. Supervise, support, and provide direction to First Aid Attendants during daily operations and emergency responses. Respond to first aid calls when dispatched and assist with the assessment and care of injured or ill guests and team members. Ensure care is provided in accordance with company policies, established protocols, and provider scope of practice. Monitor the overall readiness and professionalism of First Aid staff throughout the shift. Ensure all First Aid personnel maintain two-way radio communication while on duty. Coordinate communication with dispatch, Operations, Aquatics, Security, park leadership, and outside emergency services when needed. Request additional assistance or emergency medical services as appropriate. Ensure patient care reports, incident forms, witness statements, refusal forms, and other required documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with company expectations. Assist with incident investigations, follow-up reviews, and quality improvement efforts. Conduct and/or verify daily inspections of First Aid equipment, supplies, and work areas. Ensure First Aid supplies are adequately stocked and notify the appropriate manager when supplies or equipment are needed. Maintain accountability for daily checklists, equipment checks, shift responsibilities, and assigned projects. Support training, coaching, and professional development of First Aid staff. Promote a high standard of confidentiality regarding all guest, team member, medical, and company information. Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and patient-ready First Aid environment. Promote a culture where safety is the top priority for all guests and team members. Provide excellent guest service and maintain positive, respectful working relationships with all departments. Model professionalism, teamwork, integrity, and accountability at all times. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, expectations, and requirements. Provide feedback, concerns, ideas, and suggestions to the Operations Manager on a timely and consistent basis. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Current State EMT certification required. Valid driver's license required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Prior experience in First Aid Operations, EMS, emergency response, aquatics, theme park operations, or a related field preferred. Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Ability to troubleshoot situations, make sound decisions, and act without unnecessary delay. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving, guest-focused environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills. Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with guests, team members, leadership, and outside agencies. Must demonstrate a proactive, goal-oriented, and can-do attitude. Work Environment This position operates in a fast-paced amusement, water park, aquatics, or guest-service environment. The First Aid Operations Supervisor may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, high guest volume, emergency situations, bodily fluids, loud noise, and changing operational demands. This position requires professionalism, flexibility, situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
