Description

The First Aider is required to provide first aid care to guests, employees and vendor (contractor) of Wild Wild Wet, D’Resort & Downtown East premises in accordance with established Emergency Medical protocol. The First Aider is also required to assist pertaining to general guests, employees and vendor (contractor) health and safety.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Providing first aid care to park guests, employees and vendor (Contractor)
  • Responsible for the evacuation of emergency cases
  • Evaluate the need of further medical treatment for the guests, employees & vendor (contractor) concerned and advise management if Ambulance service is required
  • Follow all the safety procedures in relation to emergency operations
  • Conduct basic training in first aid & AED, in-house & to external parties within Downtown East premises if required
  • Maintain the operations & housekeeping of First Aid Room
  • Maintain & stock take supplies of necessary first aid consumables and equipment
  • Sourcing of suppliers/vendors for medical supplies
  • Ensure all medical equipment is in good working order & checked prior to every working shift
  • To update as soon as possible all critical / ambulance service cases and follow up. Generate weekly & monthly First Aid report
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the HOD/Reportng Officer

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum a certification in Paramedic or Emergency Technician Level or higher
  • Possesses experience as an operational paramedic or Emergency Technician
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge in occupational first-aid and workplace safety
  • Knowledge in operating medical equipment, AED, oxygen cylinder
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to assess situations and take immediate and appropriate action based on sound and rational judgment
  • Able to work on weekends and public holiday
