How will this role impact First Command? The Banking Operations & Analytics Intern provides cross-functional support across the Bank with a focus on process documentation, vendor management coordination, financial planning support, and operational project work within Consumer Lending. This role contributes to efficiency, consistency, and transparency across lines of business by supporting documentation efforts, maintaining inventories, assisting with system implementation projects, and providing analytical support using Excel and other tools. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technologically curious, and comfortable working across multiple departments on structured and ad hoc initiatives. What will the employee do in this role? ·        Support bank-wide procedure documentation efforts, including leveraging AI tools to assist with documenting, organizing, and maintaining operational procedures. ·        Partner with Vendor Management to help create and maintain a centralized inventory of all vendors, contracts, and contract expiration dates across the Bank. ·        Assist Consumer Lending with Synergy document upload catch-up, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete document management. ·        Provide Loan Origination System (LOS) project support for Consumer Lending, including testing assistance, documentation, issue tracking, and general project coordination as needed. ·        Support development of the FY27 Financial Plan, assisting with analysis, documentation, and ensuring consistency in approach across all lines of business. ·        Provide advanced Excel support for bank-wide initiatives, including data cleanup, analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and basic modeling. ·        Complete additional ad hoc projects and operational support tasks as requested by management. Skills and Qualifications Education *  Must be a full time undergrad/grad student in good academic standing. * Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ·        Must be available to work at Home Office at least on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 20-25 hours each week. ·        Strong writing skills. ·        Strong listening skills. ·        Detail-oriented and organized. ·        Professional who is able capable of keeping information confidential
