Key Responsibilities and Duties: Curriculum Development: Implement engaging lessons for core subjects (especially reading) while integrating Catholic values and fostering a respectful environment. Skill Development: Monitor progress against 1st-grade milestones, manage the classroom effectively, and maintain proactive communication with parents. Safety & Environment: Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment. Assessment & Evaluation: Evaluate, document, and report student progress. Faith Integration: Promote Catholic teachings in lessons and participate in required faith formation Qualifications and Requirements: Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree and a valid teaching license. Experience: Bachelor’s degree and a valid teaching license. Compliance: Ability to pass criminal background checks and comply with diocesan Safe Environment policies Job Summary: Position: Full Time, First Grade Homeroom Teacher. Pay rate range: Salary Range from $33,000 to $45,000. Based on Experience Benefits: Rockford of Diocese Benefits PDF Dates: Starting August 11, 2026 and follows School Schedule. Working Conditions: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time. Requires the ability to lift to 25 lbs.
