Job Details Job Location: Plano Campus - Plano, TX 75093 Position Type: Part-Time Education Level: High School Job Category: Admin - Clerical Coordinates the Preschool Ministry First Impression Team while also greeting and directing at the information desks at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC-PC”). Responsibilities: Recruits, trains, and oversees the Preschool Ministry First Impressions Team volunteers Ensures volunteer screening processes are followed Makes changes and corrections to staffing and member assignments for Preschool Enrolls prospects and attendees Encourages the greeter team Staffs and manages weekend, Wednesday night and church-wide events’ greeters and walkers in all applicable areas Exercises tact in receiving callers in person or by telephone and in appropriately routing their requests Other duties as assigned Qualifications Requirements: Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-PC Experience recruiting volunteers and leading effective teams helpful Excellent oral and written communication skills Beginner to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs Must have a passion for Preschool Ministry Ability to work a Sunday – Thursday schedule with flexibility to work Wednesday evenings Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, while occasionally performing physical activities requiring moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance
Responsibilities
The First Impressions Coordinator recruits, trains, and oversees the Preschool Ministry First Impressions Team volunteers while managing greeters and walkers during events. They also ensure proper volunteer screening and encourage the greeter team.
