Description:
LOCATION: RUNCORN - WA7 3BN
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.
Responsibilities:
- To manage the performance of an allocated warehouse department
- To assist in actively managing the Client relationship in line with the site strategy
- Accountable for the Health & Safety practices on site, assisting in delivering the Health & Safety strategy
- Ensure the warehouse performance consistently meets the requirement of the client
- Briefing of the team before start of shift, discussing the previous shifts performance and allocating tasks to be carried out within the next 12hrs
