Responsibilities

IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU? IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Lead the creation of strategy for Indigenous client segment for CWM.
  • Create an action plan for CWM.
  • Gather and analyze relevant market information and data
  • Partner and build relationships with internal partners and cross functional leaders across Canadian Wealth Management, Canadian Banking and within Scotiabank Group to successfully compile relevant information to prioritize focus and sustain growth of the overall function.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify and develop strategic partnerships to help grow the priority segment portfolio.
  • Create documentation of the Canadian Wealth Management business landscape and link to Scotia Wealth Management businesses / opportunities in partnership with Canadian Banking.
  • Identify emerging issues and market trends
  • Create material, present data and insights to get buy-in from different stakeholders
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment

DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS THAT WILL ENABLE YOU TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE? – WE’D LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • 5-7 years relevant experience in banking or client focused industries
  • Experience with market research
  • Strong quantitative skills including ability to analyze issues, develop strategies, and communicate findings
  • Master’s Degree considered an asset
  • Excellent relationship development and management skills
  • PowerPoint and Excel skills
