The Company currently has a vacancy for a First Officer on one of our SOVs working on Doggar Bank Wind Farm.
Candidates should hold full DP Operator License and Unlimited Chief Officer CoC (support for obtaining UK FSE can be given).

First Officer is responsible for the following:

• Deputizing for Chief Officer, in the event of their absence on board.
• The safe navigation of the vessel, during their hours of watch.
• The safe and efficient running of the Deck Department (this role maybe delegated on certain classes of ship).
• Management of vessel stability during cargo loading/discharge and ship operation.
• Liaising with Client management onboard regarding cargo loading/discharging and vessel/client operations.
• Designating duties to additional crew members.
• Maintenance of all marine safety equipment.
• Coordinating on board firefighting response, and overseeing all internal firefighting activities onboard, as and when required.
• Carrying out vessel inspections according to Safety Inspection Programme, and reporting any / all recorded defects to Chief Engineer.
• Investigating any accidents, incidents or near misses and providing an accurate and detailed report to Master (for onward transmissions to the QHSE Department).
• The First Officer shall act as Shipboard Safety Officer (this role maybe delegated on certain classes of ship).
• Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
• Actively promoting inter-departmental communications.
