Job Title: First Responder
Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated First Responders to join our team. As a First Responder, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate assistance and care to individuals in need at both events and nighttime venues, particularly focusing on Pre Hospital Emergency Care and First aid. Your expertise in the pre-hospital environment will be invaluable in ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide necessary medical assistance sometimes being the first resource on scene.
- Administer first aid and basic medical treatments as per scope of practice.
- Assist and liaise with other agencies and services when required. E.G; Police, Fire and Ambulance.
- Monitor and manage individuals under your care ensuring routine observations are completed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate further patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interventions and observations on PRFs and minor PI forms.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a pre-hospital care environment. (Events, night-time economy, frontline ambulance or equivalent)
- Certification (FREC 3 or equivalent)
- Familiarity with the FREC 3 scope of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both a team and individual environment.
- A driver’s license is preferred however not essential.
