Job title:  Inventory Controls  Reports to:  Warehouse Supervisor  Payroll status:  Non-exempt   Job Summary:  This person will be responsible for oversight of Customer Inventory by coordinating with Operations Team through receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.   Essential Functions: * Maintain Inventory accuracy by auditing and cycle counting receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing processes and procedures to produce customer service excellence.  * Ensure correct and timely handling of product within the established Vertical Cold Storage policies and procedures.  Utilizing appropriate, defined practices to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Control inventory by conducting physical counts and reconciling with system software.  * Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by following and monitoring security procedures and protocols. * Protect shipments by investigating causes of damages and discrepancies in consignments.   * Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair.   * Enforce safety policies by conducting inspections, counseling employees, and identifying and correcting infractions.  * Collaborate departmental workflow between warehouse, production, office, and corporate administrative departments.  *   Job Qualifications * High school diploma or its equivalent required. * 1-3 years' experience in warehouse/distribution preferred. * Knowledge and experience in Safety and OSHA desired. * Bilingual skills desired. * Strong customer service skills with ability to read and write English. * Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word & Outlook  * Ability to communicate at all levels. * Problem solving abilities with attention to detail.    Physical Requirements:   * Employee is regularly required to stand, walk for 8 or more hours in a day. * Effectively handle lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds frequently * Employee is frequently required to bend, twist, use hand to finger, handle, controls and climb or balance, reach with hands and arms.
