Description The First Shift Warehouse Associate – Picking is responsible for accurately locating, selecting, and preparing customer orders during the first shift. This role focuses on efficiently picking products from warehouse inventory, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring orders are staged properly for the next steps in the fulfillment process. The Warehouse Associate – Picking works closely with warehouse, inspection, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Schedule Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Key Responsibilities Accurately pick customer orders based on pick tickets, order details, and system requirements Verify order accuracy, including item numbers, quantities, and product specifications Locate and retrieve inventory from warehouse shelving and storage locations efficiently Stage completed orders for inspection, packing, or shipping processes Utilize warehouse systems and handheld devices to process and track orders Assist with inventory movement and organization within the warehouse as needed Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout warehouse areas Collaborate with warehouse, inspection, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to perform each essential duty accurately and efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with warehouse scanning systems or ERP systems preferred Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) or similar ERP systems preferred Ability to navigate online resources such as engineering manuals Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal team members Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
