Description
Diagnoses, evaluate and track the actions for the on hold and suspect battery modules and systems to help diagnosis quality issues and reduce scrap improve the OEE. Key Roles & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Standard Duties: Observes products in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble/abnormalities. Evaluate the products to identify, evaluate and fix any defective parts. Process defective part through nonconforming material procedure. Inspect good components to verify they are conforming and able to be returned to the assembly line. Repairs as possible or replaces any defective parts Evaluate rejects and determine root cause. Lead the MRB (Material Review Board) and drive the actions over the analysis. Enter evaluation data into spreadsheet to create a report including FTQT Log and FPY spreadsheet. Safety, Health and Physical Requirements: Stand for long periods of time including during operation of stand up lifts. Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively. Stepping up and down off lift; walking long distances over extended periods. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Working in a non-climate controlled environment. Repetitive motion activities including but not limited to box cutting, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts. Teamwork/Interpersonal Skills Education & Experience Education: High School diploma or GED 6 months of quality related experience preferred Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Communication - Responds well to questions; Participates in meetings. Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP Inventory software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
