Identify early intervention strategies with students and intervenes when necessary.What you will be doing:Develop learning plans and plans/develops workshops tailored to students’ academic success, offer study skill workshops and other courses;Offer ongoing individualized, specialized and one on one support to students;Advise students of options and resources; andTrack progress/grades and reports on these to sponsoring agencies.A detailed job description is available from the Human Resource Services department.What you will need to be considered:Two (2) year Community College diploma, or related/equivalent. Preferably in Social Work; andUp to four years of practical experience.Please note this position qualifies under Northern College’s protocol for hiring in remote regions.
