Overview ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: The Fiscal Clerk is accountable for performing basic clerical duties in an accurate and timely manner. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: The Fiscal Clerk reports to a Director or Manager in the Fiscal Services as assigned and does not supervise anyone. This position may have contact with corporate and hospital personnel, and related outside agencies. Responsibilities MAJOR ACTIVITIES: Prepares documents for payment in an accurate and timely manner. Prepares documents to be key entered into usable input computer form. Verifies information on documents and assures compliance with ARH policy and procedure. Prepares various reports for and supplies information to outside agencies. Maintains and updates accounts, logs, records, and files. Audits and reconciles accounts. Codes and posts ledgers and reports. Prepares account bank deposits and disbursements as assigned. Sorts, processes and distributes mail and files various reports and documents. Enters information into a CRT. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or its equivalent PLUS knowledge of CRT operation. Six (6) months related experience preferred.
