Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Fry Cook to become part of our busy kitchen team. In this role, you’ll be preparing freshly cooked dishes — including traditional fish & chips and other favourites — while ensuring every plate meets our high standards for taste and quality.

Key Duties:

  • Cook and serve a range of fried menu items to order.
  • Keep an eye on cooking oil quality and temperature, making adjustments to deliver consistent results.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workstation, following cleaning schedules for fryers and equipment.
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
  • Support the kitchen team with food prep and other tasks when required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a kitchen, ideally in a frying role, is a big advantage (training can be provided for the right person).
  • Good knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen practices.
  • Attention to detail to ensure food is cooked and served correctly every time.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a lively kitchen environment.
  • A positive team player who communicates well with colleagues.
