Duties:
Reporting to the Director of Fisheries Branch, the Fisheries Certification Manager is responsible for the management of the province’s commercial fisheries program, including planning, policy, legisliation, licensing, and reporting. This position is also responsible for leading and coordinating the process of achieving and maitinaing eco-certification of Manitoba’s commercial fisheries. The incumbant will interact with other technical and management staff, as well as, commercial fishing groups Indiginous communities and organizations and stakeholders.
