Title: Fish Monger/Fish Cutter
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Part Time
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

POSITION SUMMARY

  • 5 days/week for a total of approx. 40 hours.
  • Start at 5:30 AM and finish at around 2:00 PM.
  • Follows procedures to ensure the accurate, efficient, and safe operation of all production processes

KEY REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE):

  • Proven experience as a skilled fishmonger – strong filleting and butchery skills are essential
  • Ability to expertly handle a wide variety of fish and seafood species
  • Precision and speed with knives, with consistent cut quality
  • Solid understanding of seafood quality, grading, and freshness standards
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling practices
  • Physically fit and able to work in a cold environment with heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment

Experience:

  • Fish Cutting: 1 year (required
Responsibilities
  • Fillet, portion, and prepare fish and seafood to Daily Seafood’s high standards
  • Accurately fulfill custom orders for wholesale and retail clients
  • Ensure all seafood is handled, stored, and rotated correctly to maintain top freshness
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety regulations
  • Support production efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the team
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
