JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery, carpentry and fit out, with the ability to work with various materials and tools.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of painting techniques is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s licence may be required for site visits.
  • Valid CSCS / SPA card
  • Asbestos awareness
  • Applicants must have experience of working on refurbishments and new build projects
  • a practical and logical mind and a methodical way of thinking;

    Pay: £20.00-£24.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 50 – 72 per week

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble structures, including doors, windows, and furniture.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks.
  • Perform masonry work as required for specific projects.
  • Carry out roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with heavy lifting of materials as needed during the construction process.
