Therefore, the applicant should have at least 1 year of experience as a professional in either the Gym, Personal Training, Sports massage or equivalent industries.

THE ROLE:
You will be an integral part of the Origym HQ Assessment Team at Origym’s Head Office, based in Liverpool, L2. Origym specialises in teaching full-time intensive courses and distance-based learning in fitness instructing, personal training, sports massage and other health and fitness-related qualifications as well as more holistic teaching and assessing qualifications.
You will also form part of the team that offers student support and feedback for any content-related questions or queries. This is the primary role of our HQ assessors.
You may on occasion take the lead at our National Training and Assessment weekends which includes delivering large assessment days with several members of the team.
As part of the head office team, you will also be instrumental in developing new resources and deploying them throughout our student population.
As this position is primarily for an Origym assessor the following qualifications ARE ESSENTIAL:

Within the department, there are different roles which everyone who works for us is capable of achieving.
ASSESSOR ROLE:
As an assessor, you are responsible for the marking of student work, supporting students via chat box, telephone, and email and assessing face-to-face practical assessments each week.
This is the initial position that all members of our education team will be trained.
TUTOR ROLE:
Once you have completed your assessor training the progression we offer is into the role of a tutor. Our tutors within the department carry out the same role as an assessor but you will also be responsible for teaching our full-time students with the potential to develop and support our course curriculum.

Following the completion of your assessor training, the salary range will be between £25,400 - £26,500.
