POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the direction of the Senior Operations Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in accordance with company policies and procedures. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with warehouse operations and functions desirable

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel REQUIRED
  • Background in SAP Preferred
  • Experience with cycle counts
  • Ability to cross train in other areas of the business

SKILLS

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Strong background working with SAP or similar ERP programs
  • Maintain flexibility and willingness to work in situations of flux and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines under pressure
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of initiative and a sense of urgency, demonstrated by accomplishing tasks; improving current work processes; and assisting others when necessary

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • While performing the duties of this job there is normal levels associated with that of a warehouse operation. Employee may experience moderate noise levels from forklift traffic. The employee occasionally performs work-related travel.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and process:

  • Process Assembly Team orders (in SAP)
  • Maintain Assembly daily output data (in excel)
  • Distribute and track open production orders
  • Receive parts shipments
  • Receive Stock Transfer Orders (STO’s)
  • Put parts received into storage bins, systematically and physically
  • Perform daily cycle counts on parts
  • Assist with confirming outbound orders
  • Cross Train with Operations Coordinator for back up duties
  • Update weekly spreadsheets and distribute
  • Work closely with all finished goods, parts, and assembly team members
  • Maintain work area to 5S standards as posted in work area
  • Pick finished goods and parts orders according to sales orders and delivery note
  • Label and verify each inbound and outbound shipment and check all items for accuracy
  • Prepare stable loads and package cartons for damage free shipping
  • Notify supervisor when discrepancies occur, over-shipments or substitutions have been made
  • Accurately receive product and count all items unloaded and verify with packing list
  • Unload, deliver and put away all parts and finished goods according to work instructions
  • Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers
  • Will be required to unload and load trucks as necessary
