We are currently seeking a positive, hard-working, self-motivated individual to join our fantastic team as our Fitness & Recreation Manager at our island-inspired resort. THE JOB: The Fit & Rec Manager oversees the daily operations and guest experience for the resort’s Fitness and Recreation Departments, including the Fitness Center, Wellness Center, pools, cabanas, beach, and outdoor recreation venues. This role is responsible for the planning and execution of fitness and recreation programming, cabana and day-pass operations, and the delivery of high-quality guest recreation experiences. The Fit & Rec Manager leads Fit/Rec staffing and scheduling, including hiring, training, supervision, and task delegation for Recreation Supervisors and Recreation Attendants. The Fit & Rec Manager ensures all fitness and recreation areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready while maintaining service standards, operational efficiency, and brand alignment. This role will report to: Director of Operations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fitness, recreation, or hospitality operations, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role Proven ability to lead teams, create schedules, delegate responsibilities, and manage day to day operations Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Experience delivering high quality guest service and overseeing guest facing operations Positive, professional, and team oriented leadership style with a hands on approach Flexible schedule required; hours may vary including weekends and holidays Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs Strong time management skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a leadership team Proficient in basic computer skills and capable of learning new software and reservation systems When joining our team as a Fitness & Recreation Manager, you will be offered: Pay Rate of $ 26.50 per hour Potential annual incentive payout of 0%-33% of base compensation, subject to plan terms and performance criteria.
