Qualifications Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure Certified in personal training and group fitness Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments, including evaluating clients’ health history, fitness level, and goals. Instruct land-based and aquatic classes. Develop individualized exercise programs tailored to client’s needs, goals, and abilities, considering any physical limitations or health conditions. Monitor client progress, track results, and adjust programs as needed to ensure effectiveness and safety. Lead and instruct group fitness classes, workshops, and individual training sessions, demonstrating proper exercise techniques and forms for extended periods of time. Educate residents on the principles of fitness, fall prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
Responsibilities
The Fitness Specialist will conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and develop individualized exercise programs for clients. They will also lead group fitness classes and educate residents on fitness principles and healthy lifestyle choices.
