Position Overview Department: Fitness at One Nineteen Schedule: PRN- Evenings and weekends Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's HooverPersonal Training Certification preferred What You Will Do Provide instruction on physical fitness as it relates to all aspects of general health and wellness. Design fitness programs for various patient populations. Organize and instruct exercise classes for all fitness levels. Ensure that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment. Develop and market general health and wellness programs. Oversee and ensure appropriate use and maintenance of Fitness Center equipment. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Required. Education: High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
