As an eight-time "Top Workplace" award winner, we take pride in offering an innovative and collaborative work culture where compassion meets excellence.   Who We're Looking For The Wellness Trainer is responsible for leading individual and group fitness sessions, maintaining a safe and welcoming wellness center, and encouraging patient engagement through exercise, recreational activities, and positive coaching. This role works closely with clinical and medical teams to ensure wellness programming complements each patient’s treatment plan.   What You'll Do * Lead daily fitness classes for patients of varying fitness levels. * Conduct strength training, functional fitness, cardiovascular, flexibility, and recreational activities. * Motivate and encourage patients in a supportive, recovery-focused environment. * Supervise patients during gym, volleyball, and other wellness activities. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness facility. * Inspect and report equipment concerns or maintenance needs. * Complete daily safety checks, including AED inspections and facility logs. * Assist with wellness events, recreational programming, and special activities. * Monitor patient participation and document attendance as required. * Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and clinical teams to support patient care. * Promote healthy lifestyle habits including exercise, nutrition, hydration, and stress management. * Maintain professional boundaries while creating a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. What You Need * High School Diploma or GED required. * CPR/AED Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). * Experience working in fitness, wellness, behavioral health, or healthcare preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. * Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
