The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Fitout Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for data centre and general fitout works. This role is critical for our Estimating Team, ensuring competitive bids and a smooth handover from the tender stage to project operations. You’ll play a vital role in securing profitable work and contributing to the company’s growth by maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the pre-construction process.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, here are some of the key duties of this role:

• Tender projects from start through to final submission.
• Attend pre- and post-tender reviews and prepare for handover meetings with the operations team upon project award.
• Work both independently and as part of an integrated team to meet demanding time and quality targets.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and management to achieve the required outcomes for the client.
• Price the CSA elements for data centre fitout projects in Ireland and overseas.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and estimates, thoroughly reviewing all relevant drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
• Liaise closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for all elements of the project.
• Ensure cost efficiency is maintained throughout the tendering process.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in the construction sector, with a focus on pricing Data Centre Fitouts.
• A CSA or tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly present findings.
• High level of computer literacy, with experience using relevant estimating software.
• Good communication skills for internal and external liaison.
• Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
• Meticulous approach to take-offs and pricing to ensure accuracy.
