REQUIREMENTS:

• UAE experience is must .
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an estimator in interior fit-out or construction.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, MEP, finishes, and fit-out materials.
• Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS, PlanSwift, Excel).
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience in UAE/GCC market pricing and suppliers.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes.
• RICS or equivalent professional certification is a plus.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Fit-Out Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, including commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality spaces. This role involves analyzing project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine material, labor, and time costs, ensuring competitive and profitable project bids.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and analyze drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for fit-out projects, including materials, labor, subcontractors, and overheads.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed BOQs.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and designers to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and value engineering proposals.
• Update and maintain cost databases, supplier lists, and pricing records.
• Monitor market trends, material costs, and construction methods to ensure up-to-date knowledge.
• Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings, negotiations, and clarifications.
• Support the project team during project execution with cost-related information.
