All Metal Project is seeking a Fitter and Turner to join our growing team. The role will be varied, challenging, and require strong mechanical and machining capabilities. The candidate will need to be well organized, have strong problem-solving skills, and work efficiently in all aspects of the project thru to completion. Our customer base includes most high levels of architects, engineers, mechanical engineers, builders and interior designs which demand working within a highly skilled team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering preference
• Cert 4 Machinist
• Cert 4 Fitter and turner

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years previous experience
• Experience in mechanical engineering role for construction and metal manufacture environment
• Project management experience.
• Experience in metalwork with an understanding of welding techniques and fabrication methods

SKILLS:

• Use of all machining tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret accurately all mechanical drawings
• Hi level experience in set out and, dimensions and material preparation.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work both in a team and individually.
• A great problem-solving skill
• A practical mindset, with a hands-on approach to getting things done.

• High degree of proficiency in all aspects of machine, fitter and turner.
• Provide high level of mechanical engineering design solutions for our projects and clients.
• Ability to read and interpret high level of mechanical detail drawings .
• Oversee mechanical works plus site and workshop commissioning for allocated projects.
• Experience use across a number of material, not limited to brass, aluminium, stainless steel, bronze etc,
• Have hi level of ability using all required machining tools and equipment, not limited to, lathes, milling, drilling machines.
• Organising and keep track of the assigned projects.
• Give correct, optimal and efficient, technical drawings with mechanical analysis, also accurate materials and components according with requirement of the clients
